Brewery Expands with Help from EDC Finance
Brothers Greg and Matt Keasey, owners of Conestoga based Spring House Brewing Company, are in the throes of renovating their new building located at 209 Hazel Street in downtown Lancaster. Once renovations are complete, the formerly vacant warehouse will support the additional brewing capacity that is needed for continued business growth.
In addition to expanding the brewing operation, the brothers also have plans for a tasting room on site. The tasting room will overlook the brewery and will provide customers with an up close view of the process involved with making the product. Completion is scheduled for mid-year, 2015.
EDC Finance Corporation partnered with Union Community Bank on a $780,000 SBA 504 loan that is intended to help with the cost of the real estate acquisition, renovation expenses and the purchase and installation of equipment.
