Esh Foods, locally owned and operated by the Esh family for generations, is significantly expanding its wholesale and distribution capacity with an addition to their current facility located in Gordonville, Lancaster County.

Esh Foods serves as a wholesale distributor for meats, cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods and many other related food items. Their customer focus is farmers markets and food stores throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

EDC Finance and the SBA have approved an SBA 504 loan for the project. As a result, Esh Foods has already begun to construct the additional space needed due to increased sales and new product lines. In addition to the expansion project, the existing offices will be renovated in order to maximize efficiency within the new facility. Construction and renovation of the 23,000 square foot facility will be complete in summer 2014. Metro Bank is providing primary financing with EDC Finance providing subordinate SBA 504 financing to maximize equity in the commercial property.
