Another project supported by EDC Finance is now open for business. Brick Gables, a Lititz-area wedding and event venue, combines two existing Lancaster County businesses — Country Home Catering and Zig’s Bakery, both of which are operating out of the new facility.
EDC Finance Corporation and the U.S. Small Business Administration approved a $1,302,000 SBA 504 loan to assist with permanent financing in partnership with Orrstown Bank. The project involved the purchase and reconstruction of an historic barn located on East Newport Road in Warwick Township and included an expansion of the facility and the installation of the commercial kitchen, bakery and café.
